Boat part number 8700459 is a new thru hull mounting LED underwater light from Sea Vision, part number SV42 . Commonly used on Carver/Marquis Yachts, part number 9600213 .This light has an LED array in a bronze housing. Excellent for a boat which has limited interior access but desires a surface mount installation. The commercial grade Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology used in this light will provide robust and reliable operation under normal operating conditions. The light can be operated for a brief period of time when the vessel is out of the water, but, it is crucial that the vessel is in the water to ensure proper light source cooling, however, the light can be operated while the vessel is underway. Depending upon water clarity conditions, the light beam can reach up to 6 meters (20 feet). Measures approximately 3 1/8" ODia. x 7 1/2" L overall. Has an approximate 4" max thru hull thickness. Mounting hardware is included.
